I just bought this television about four or five months ago. Ever since I bought it it has randomly shut itself off and then turned itself back on, almost as if you are restarting a computer. I keep forgetting to contact Best Buy, where I bought it, so I was going to see if anyone could help me on here first.

Thanks.

I'm sorry Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

There are a few things you can try, and hopefully they will help.

There could be an unwanted signal interfering with the tv. Try covering with infrared receptor on the tv with something like foil and see if that makes the problem go away. If it does you know the problem is interference.
Along those same lines, try fresh batteries in your remote. It's not likely the problem, but it's possible.

Another thing to try is unplugging the power and cable if you have it, then plugging them back in and rescanning the channels.

Other than that, I don't know what you can do other than take it in to Best Buy. They are pretty good about taking back defective Insignia products if it comes down to that.
