I just brought my insignia pilot into the store today because it had a bad battery and was only a little over 2 months old. They took it without even looking at it and told me to grab a new one off the shelf, no questions asked.

So, be sure you check the warranty policy on whatever you buy, but I believe most everything of theirs comes with a one year warranty.

I was told by a former employee who worked at the repair desk that the insignia stuff is so cheap for them that they will basically give you a new one no matter what the problem is.
