insignia kix ns-1a10s

i bought one mp3 player insignia kix ns-1a10s a few days ago
it worked just fine for about one hour
then ....problems
i think is all about the firmware
it just doesn't accept any command from keyboard..only on-off
i turn it on it displays the first song stored on it ...playing and nothing...no sound no possibility to increase volume or to go to main menu...nothing
so..please if someone have the solution...firmware or anything

I checked and there is no firmware available to download for the kix.

If it's possible, try looking at any system settings that you can change, or try plugging it in, deleting everything, and re-uploading it. Maybe something just got corrupted and is confusing it. Also, try removing the battery and putting it back (only if the battery is removable though).

If nothing seems to work I suggest returning it. If there's a store around you, take it there (even if you bought it online), otherwise return it online.
