I have an Insignia HDTV and I can't get the closed captioning to work or realize it's on when viewing cable programs. It works when I use the DVD inputs. Can anyone help?

I'm having the same exact problem. I need CC to understand properly and if I can't get it to work, this TV is going back.

Do you have cable? I've heard with cable, that your provider may need to enable them for you.

If you can't get them working at all, check out the manual, or if you don't have one, go to www.insigniaproducts.com and you can download one for your tv there.
