After I turn off player, I can't turn it on and when I connect it to my PC, it is not able to read it... it only turns on the lights in the volume wheel, but never appears in my PC.
Please help!!!! Huh

Sorry I don't have more time to reply... have to catch a train... 4 more hours of traveling for me today (4 already so far)

Anyways, my quick reply until I can respond more is to find the cd that came with it and install their software if you haven't already. They have drivers on the insignia-products.com website that you might try, and also, it might be recognizing it but just ignoring it and not popping up a window. Check My Computer for it and also check your hardware properties. If you don't know how I can explain tomorrow or sometime.

the problem is that I can't turn on the player, I must to plug out battery to turn it on. When i turn it on without unplugging battery it only turns on the lights in the volume wheel

Not sure what is going on. Possible bad files on the Pilot are causing the problem.

Can you do a reset? Hold the power switch in the ON position for 30 seconds or so will reset your Pilot.

If no success you might try formatting the drive but from your description you probably cannot access this option.
