Photo Frame Problem

Not sure where to post Picture Frame issue. New member.
Model NS-DPF8WA-09, 8".  Computer does not recognize USB connection. Very annoying that A-A cable had to be purchased on line. Best Buy tech nor Insig 24/7 could help. Same result with exchange unit and new cable. Comp port verified good. WIN XP.  Is this a design flaw and noone uses the USB port so it was not detected.

Help, or I will have to return for refund. E-mail to insignia has been sent

So you got a new unit with the same problem?

Also, why did you need to buy an A-A cable? Have you tried the frame with any other computers?

If all else fails, I believe they take SD cards. You could just load the pictures onto that separately and then plug it into the frame. Does the frame itself display pictures? Or have you yet to actually get any on? I'll see if I can figure anything else out.
